LZ-A4 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Yeah, I've noticed that with my skullcandy tips (huge hole), it sounds slightly more airy than tips with smaller holes.- flamedrace

LZ-A4 Impressions and Discussion Thread
What eartips do people use for these? I've seen a few people saying T-100/TX-100 comply tips fit them. My RE400's silicone tips fit them perfectly, but the RE400's use T-400/TX-400 comply tips. So far my best fit have been some silicone tips from a $15 pair of Skullcandy's from 10 years ago...- flamedrace

IEMs that sound like RE400?
On the hunt for new IEMs. The build quality of my RE400s were terrible. I considered soldering on a new jack and replacing the cable entirely, but can't be bothered. HOWEVER, I LOOOOVE THE SOUND. Any recommendations for IEMs that sound similar, or even just good IEMs below 150 USD? ...- flamedrace

Favourite Fun Headphones?
I'm reading up on the Creative Auvana Live since I can't find much on the Panasonics and someone said they'd be better with more spacious earpads. Not sure if that would take away from the bass though. My definition of fun is SHRILLING HIGHS with THUNDEROUS BASS and a soundstage so big that you...- flamedrace

Favourite Fun Headphones?
That's not even an HE-500 anymore. Sounds like a lot of fun just to build! This is really interesting because it's so cheap. Do you think these would pair well with Alpha pads?- flamedrace

Need help with choosing headphones!
They're not the best built pair of cans but certainly not cheap feeling either. Just don't throw them across your room and you'll be fine.- flamedrace

Need help with choosing headphones!
M40x's are amazing but they really need a pad upgrade to make them shine. Maybe you can get them now and later get the $50 USD ZMF pads?- flamedrace

Best *Bass* headphone for working out
Jaybird X3s are great but a bit over budget. I'd also recommend SE215s. You wear the cable over ear so it won't fall out while working out. Microphonic noise is reduced from wearing the cable over ear (important when you're moving around while listening). They don't have those clip thingies...- flamedrace

HifiMan 400 waterline ??
I can't seem to like the sound of anything else more than the RE400s are this price range. I've tried SE215s, MA750s and EPH100s...I would've paid $50 more for RE400s if they were built better ):- flamedrace

Add DAC/AMP OR new in-ears?
If you enjoy your 425s, you won't find it worth it to spend upwards of $500 on new IEMs. Nothing sounds as dry/analytical as Shure's IEMs 400-500 series IEMs. But I wonder if you'd enjoy a more fun sounding IEM since you want more bass. Try demoing some "funner" IEMs and see if you like them. If...- flamedrace
