Here's my review of the KZ ZS10 Pro 2. Long story short - one of the most resolving and most enjoyable IEMs that 50ish dollars can buy.

I don't know what your idea of "affordable" is, but the ddHiFi BC130A is a fantastic cable and is available with MMCX connectors.

It's ideal for the headphones you mentioned and you don't really need to go balanced. It does get quite warm but nothing extreme.

This was a good one. Still have mine here today but in reality, I never have time to enjoy them.

Hardly surprising. Nowadays, I tend to look at IEMs with filters and switches as failed experiments. If you're going to do it, do it right!

I wouldn't recommend it to anybody in its current state (regardless of price) but I'm not sure if what I have is a final production unit.

I'd rec the Shanling M0 or Hiby R2 MKII.

Very musical. The bass doesn't feel compromised for clarity in any way. There's more but I don't want to give up too much info before my full review (and haven't done any critical listening yet). :smiley_cat:
