Headphones for guitar practice
I think I should get an amp for my trusted K501. Love it except it sounds like a cat when I plug into my guitar amp.- sawyer

Headphones for guitar practice
Hey folks, I need a good pair of headphones to practice and record with my digital amp. Here are a few requirements: - Full size, comfortable for long practice/record session (no Grado!) - Low impedance: ideally less than 33ohm since the headphone output of my amp is 33ohm. - Neutral, flat...- sawyer

Guitar-fi anyone?
I I don't have the paper but I believe it was made in 2002. Yes it's MIA built by Fender Custom Shop. It's the best strat I've ever played. Tone and playability are amazing.- sawyer

The AKG K550 Impressions and Discussion Thread!
I can't speak for Leonarfd but definitely the K550 is much more detailed and neutral. DT880 has more bass and sub-bass but it's too boomy for my taste. I found that the K550 has better bass control and attack. K550 is the better all-rounder IMO.- sawyer

Rock/Pop songs with killer sax solos
I would like to add "Shine on you crazy diamond" from the album "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd. Terrific sax solo. -

The AKG K550 Impressions and Discussion Thread!
I've got the K550 from Curly21029 for a few days. It's an amazing headphone. I can't get why people say it's uncomfortable. It fits better than K501 and K701. It's clear, transparent and has a lot of punch. I A/B'ed with my K501 and I prefer the K550. It's more detailed, has more bass and...- sawyer

John Mayer is the man!!
I love his playing and song writing. I think if he focuses on writing just blues instead of cheesy pop songs, he would be a great bluesman. I don't really like his voice. Hendrix and SRV (Mayers' biggest influences) are not recognized as the best singers ever but they know how to sing emotionally. -
Songs that make your headphone WOOOOOW!!!
I get goose bump when I listen to "Romantic Warrior" by Return to Forever using my K501. -
Headphones for my guitar - help me
You can learn more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amplifier_modeling Basically guitar amp modeller is a tool (hardware/software) to simulate the sound of real amps in a portable package. You can connect it to a cabinet/amplifier/PA system to record, practice and perform. Usually...- sawyer

Headphones for my guitar - help me
Guitar amp's headphone output sucks (at least from all the solid state amps I tried). You should buy a modeller (Line 6 HD300 for example) for silent practice or get a low watt amp (but it's another story)- sawyer

AKG K501 love...
This thread made me buy the K501. 3 years later I come back and it still puts the smile on my face. I pair K501 with Apogee Duet and this combo really shines. It's the keeper after other headphones come and go. I use it for almost everything: from blues, classic rock, metal to jazz/fusion. I...- sawyer

Is there any Fujifilm DSLR (S1, S2, S3 and S5 pro) around? I got a S5 pro for a few days and I'm very happy with it. It's a great upgrade from D80: better iso, neutral colors, tank-like built quality (based on D200 body), high dynamic range.- sawyer
