So I just took a look at my old can of GruvGlide, and I see that some of the metal surrounding the spray nozel has, oh I don't know to say, burned off or something? Actually, on second thought, it looks a bit like rust. I can only guess that it's from the residue from the spray - what say you guys?

Just wanted to express content at the fact that Doves is getting more recognition! And it's "Doves," not "The Doves," by the way. I saw them perform here in Los Angeles at The Mayan theatre last year, and Elbow opened for them, too, which is also an awesome band. I just loved how Elbow's songs...

Hey Eage_Driver, what would you say is better than the MDR-V700 and MDR-7506 for DJing?

I'm not saying that the V700 is a good headphone by any means. The point I was trying to make was that Sony probably intentionally made the bass on the V700 bloated in such a way that it will be beneficial for club environments, and thus the V700 serves its purposes (being a DJ headphone)...

After listening to both headphones in two different environments, (DJing and home-listening) I've come to the conclusion that the V700 is a much better set of headphones for DJing while the V6 is much (and I mean MUCH) better for home listening. I've had the MDR-V6 for quite a long time...

The best headphones in the world do not come even close to rivalling the best speakers in the world. With speakers you feel the music, while you merely listen to music with headphones.

You want driving music? Check out John Digweed's Global Underground: Los Angeles compilation (only the second disc, though). It is not trance by any means, but it is still great driving music. The type of music that he plays certainly requires an acquired taste, so it will take you a few listens...

Nope. What I strongly believe is that headphones are used for listening to music, while speakers (good ones, that is) are used for feeling the music.

Please just try to imagine how difficult it was for me to keep my lips shut when I heard my floormate saying that those headphones "are the bomb." His uncle works for Bose, maybe that gave me some incentive to keep quiet, for the sake of having proper manners.
