Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP
I doubt they sound identical, buy if they did then I'd honestly get the tx0 modded simply for aesthetics. I think the black metal, cups, headband, and cable look so much better than the orange, silver and white on the mk3. Also, the tx0 comes with a strap and I'd probably get the mha deerskin so...- Z3ph3r

Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP
Hey there, I'm trying to chooe between buying a tx0 or an mk3. I'll be sending them in for the Argon treatment either way, but would anyone with experience with both headphones be able to compare/contrast the 2? Thanks. Edit: if it helps, I will be using alpha pads and I have to decide between...- Z3ph3r

Fiio E18
Still, an audiophile cable as an audio upgrade has such a small impact on the sound that it is not worth the money. "re cabling" can change sound drastically, but I GUARANTEE that if you were blindfolded you couldn't tell the difference or it would be very minimal.- Z3ph3r

Fiio E18
I don't think you read my post correctly. I simply stated that you DO NOT NEED an audiophile cable. I have tried to hear the difference between multiple cables blindfolded and the only way that you can hear a difference worth your money is if you have a Fidelio x1 with high cable impedance. I'm...- Z3ph3r

Audio Technica ATH-M40x: The Little Brother that Could
A close friend of mine owns the m40x, mrspeakers mad dog, hd650, shp9500, and beyerdynamic dt770. I am going to provide some input on his behalf in the form of some easy mods and my general opinion of these cans. Stock: imo, these are as neutral as you can get for under 100, bar the srh440s.I...- Z3ph3r

South Bay area Head-Fi meet late 2016 + impressions - Alum Rock Library 11-26-16
I would love to come to this meet, as I have never been to one and live in CA. I don't have any gear of note, but I would love to help around. I'd love to try out some high-end gear so I know what I should step up to soon. Thanks to Levi for setting this up.- Z3ph3r

You do not need an "audiophile" cable to make things sound good. People who think so are why audiophiles are looked badly apon sometimes. If you truly think it makes a big difference, then.... Whatever floats your boat!- Z3ph3r

Hifiman Edition S - NEW Closed Portable
AtJohnson, sorry I haven't responded yet, but my short answer is that you should buy all 3 and see what works and then return 1 or 2. I have a deal on the S for 180 dollars if you want it.- Z3ph3r

Review by 'Z3ph3r' on item 'HiFiMAN Edition S'
One of my close friend bought these recently. I'm going to try to give my honest opinion ; I haven't heard anybody else's feedback (yet). I am a "Bass-head" so I used the Fiio Q1's bass boost for some more low end, but I will not talk about that in the rest of this until the end. Comfort...- Z3ph3r

Hifiman Edition S - NEW Closed Portable
I'd recommend these if you EVER go portable, ever. I may be wrong, but I think the comfort and imaging on the S is better than the X1, but the X1's low end is SLIGHTLY better. They're both great buys, so you will be happy either way.- Z3ph3r
