Beyerdynamic Xelento!
Yes, so far I'm not getting the same kick I got from the originals. They also sound a bit harsh and bass is not really there yet. I hope it improves over time, so far I've got close to 12 hours on them.- RSC08

Beyerdynamic Xelento!
Got my Xelento Remote Gen 2 today. Had the first version some years back, ended up selling it because even though it sounded positively magical in some tracks, in others the bass made the songs a bit too aggressive. Bought the Meze Rai Penta afterwards, hated it. Sounded sterile and made music...- RSC08

Victor HA-FW10000: 10th Anniversary model
I'm sorry but I never had that experience. Balanced, unbalanced, on DAP, on DAC, stock cable, other cables... they never sounded "bass light" to me, ever. I agree that, for my taste, they sound their best with a warmer source but "bass light" is something I wouldn't say about these.- RSC08

Klipsch HP-3
Totally agree, HP-3 are super smooth and I also don't think they require EQ. The HP-3 are unbelievably lush. To be honest, when I got them with my previous dac/amp, the Fostex HP-A3, I thought the bass was bloaty and I had to EQ them. When I got the Teac dac/amp, they were just perfect, bass...- RSC08

New member looking to discuss about TEAC UD-505 DAC-AMP
I got the UD-505, very happy with it. Now I'm gonna pair it with a Rega Io for speakers.- RSC08

Klipsch HP-3
That was my point, I didn't mean to come across as saying they are not worth the price. They just weren't promoted in a way that would generate enough interest for that price point to be competitive with other big brand offerings. 849€ and free shipping, brand new. And I even ended up getting...- RSC08

Klipsch HP-3
I think they priced it too aggressively at first, that scared many buyers away. I bought my pair for ~850€ but I still see them listed in many places for ~1200€.- RSC08

Very, highly detailed request for near field speakers recommendations
Hi everyone, So I'm looking for a 2.0 or 2.1 speaker system to put in my bedroom (DAC used will be a Teac UD-505) but I have a few requirements: Mandatory: - Must be available on Amazon.es (I have a gift voucher to redeem there); - Price must not go above 300€ (350€ if it's really a very big...- RSC08
