I do find it interesting, given the nearly infinite number of accessories available in the audio world, that someone expects a company to test every device that could possibly connect to it and produce a compatibility list. Mind blowing. And good luck.

It's not luck, my file names were constructed properly to begin with.

I have both the M0 and the M0 Pro and I have never had the problems you are solving for yourself.

Mine does the same thing when I set it up the same as yours, but I never noticed. First, I never charge my M0 while listening. Second I have "Folder skip" turned on, so it just keeps playing. Third, mine is set to turn off, not standby. So it only turns off when the battery dies or I turn it off.

Audio amplifiers, by definition, amplify or increase voltage while also maintaining the required current to drive the load. So, yes limiting the output voltage limits the power output.

I bought 2 of the original M0s in May of 2018 (shortly after they became available and nearly 5 years ago). I honestly don't remember a scrolling problem with them, but could be. They are still going strong and for sound and portability still a 2 of my favorites.

The adapter is like a paper weight. I swear it weighs more than the M0 Pro. But it sounds good.

You are correct, if you aren't careful it will go from A to Z in a flash. The original M0 is much easier to control.

The orginal post states that it is a new type of balanced output.

You can squeeze it in the leather case, but its tight (over time it would probably distort the M0 case) and the USB port is covered at the bottom. I don't have the clip case.

Most amps with balanced input use XLR connectors or 4.4mm connector.

I used mine in folder view as soon as it arrived without scanning the card.

You would have to use an amplifier with a balanced input with balanced output on the M0 Pro, otherwise it defeats the purpose and connects or shorts the two inputs together. Not a good thing...

I'm driving a Schiit Magni 3 with my M0 Pro - power (line) out and all is well, no clipping at all. Sounds great.

It's hard for me to say. I only have one 4.5 mm balanced cable, so I have to stop, swap earbuds to balanced cable, then start again. There is obviously more power (which I don't need), that's about all I get.

I've had the M0 Pro for 3 days now and I must say it is a worthy successor to the original M0. I also bought the balanced output adapter, a nice addition. My ONLY complaint so far is operational, not musical - scrolling through folders can take off and go too fast, start at G and end up at Y...

Now I feel stupid. I copied the wrong playlist to the SD card. Everything is good!

I can see the playlist in folder view, but it does not play. I can import it to a playlist and it still doesn't play.

@Shanling , my new M0 Pro does not see .m3u playlists that my M0 does see and use. What am I missing?
