Sennheiser HD800 S Impressions Thread (read first post for summary)
While I won't get into the skeptical or not analysis of a amp, with all due respect to all, I think it's ridiculous to suggest one needs to buy a $2000 amp to hear "improvements" in a $1500 headphone. Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing on this head-fi; people brandish these figures and money like...- NoMythsAudio

Thanks for the casual mention of electronics-ambient artists. Schiller is new to me; just listening to Life...I Feel You. Anymore electronics artist you like?- NoMythsAudio

Sennheiser HD800 S Impressions Thread (read first post for summary)
Like the responses you got so far, HD800S is not what you’re looking for. Fact that you like Sony Mdr-z7, then you will hit a winner with Sony Mdr-z1r. Tha soundstage is great and the bass even better than z7.- NoMythsAudio

Kind of curious, what's the difference between these two besides that the Ti is limited edition and the price is 3x regular DX200.- NoMythsAudio

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
Pictures like this always make me jealous and want to pull the trigger even though I will be over-stretching. I had wm1a, I sold it in July, now massively regrets it. I looking to reacquire it again especially now that I have Andromeda S. But this crazy 1z always seem to show up and causes me...- NoMythsAudio

Download and install Tag Scanner (Windows only). Connect your 1z via usb to the computer. Open Tag Scanner. Locate the MUSIC folder from 1z, drag it into Tag scanner, select all (ctrl+A), click save; Tag scanner will re-encode all the images in baseline jpg. And you’re done. Saves you a lot of...- NoMythsAudio

Is that not a remote for TA-ZH1ES? If so, why would you use 1Z as dac for your laptop instead of ZH1ES? Just my own curiosity.- NoMythsAudio

Sony NW-ZX300
You guys are doing it all wrong. Yes it recognizes Album artists (I don't have ZX300 but I have WM1A). Albums with multiple artists should be tagged "Various Artists" as Album artist. Each song, under Artist name will have different artists for that particular song. This is the standard tagging...- NoMythsAudio

Focal Clear headphones
I'm confused. Is the Clear not like 3 times the price of HD650? Not criticizing, just genuinely confused at the comparison between the two and declaring the Clear as the winner.- NoMythsAudio

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
I feed my TA via usb with Raspberry Pi3 (running Ropieee) which is fed through Ethernet. Roon Core acting as source/server to the RPi3. Z1R with Sony Kimber cable 4.4mm coming through TAZ1HES. Sound is heavenly I must say. I have also connected my wm1a, as source, through the supplied Sony...- NoMythsAudio

Not true. I have covers 2000x2000 and displays perfectly. The only caveat is the jpg must have been saved as baseline and not progressive. So for the jpgs not showing you have to extract them, save as baseline and then embed them again in the music file.- NoMythsAudio

I have albums with 1500X1500 and a few with 2000X2000. All displays with no problem as long as the jpg is not baseline saved.- NoMythsAudio

Well, I don't know about you but hell no, I'm not paying $600 for warranty. I bought the exact International version on Amazon 6 months ago, the Z1R keeps getting better. With Sony's built and QC you'll have to be terribly unlucky to pick a bad one and even if you do, mostly likely the problem...- NoMythsAudio

When you get it, please let us know how it is. I will like to replace my present Sony Kimber cable with a softer more pliable cable. I simple find the kimber cable to be too stiff and unnecessarily long.- NoMythsAudio
