I didn't realise how cheap the Hdv820 was used. I just ordered one for £1000. After selling my mojo 2 and poly it's pretty much covered! I really wonder how it's going to sound in comparison to the mojo 2

I've seen a few posts about people having a DAC into amp setup with the HD800S I'm curious what amps you would recommend in the £400-1000 price range and also how big a difference this makes since I thought one of the points of the mojo2 was for it's amplification?

Honestly since the low gain maximum volume setting on the Leckerton unit is basically a preamp I think you'll be okay. The same setting is perfect for plugging headphones into as well. Trust me once you listen to that setup on your speakers you'll be glad you gave it a shot!

I just bought a Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 and I have to say it's absolutely beautiful. It's very minimal and the build quality is just amazing.

I've always wondered about the Ultimate Ears products. I've heard great things about them. Unique Melody isn't a brand I've heard of but the design looks a lot like the IE80 with the brushed metal which is quite interesting.
