    Need Help Looking For Headphones

In the price range you specified and since you owned a xb500, while preferring a neutral sound signature the best matching cans that I can think of for your needs would probably be something like the Sony V6 a closed back studio monitor that only lacks a detachable cable like you want, though...

    Sony XB 500 replacement

I;ve never owned a pair of the xb series, though you should checkout the JVC HA SZ 2000 as it has great bass in definition, power and speed, although considering how you're already a bass head you've probably heard about them by now and if you consider getting one you should pair it with a FiiO...

Differences in sound signature for DT770 PRO in 80 - 250 ohms

I wanted to know the differences in sound signatures between the DT770 PRO in the 80 ohm and 250 ohm versions I've already heard that differences between them is that the 80 ohm is more bass heavy while 250 ohm is better at higher ranges; I came here to confirm what the differences are, and also...

Anyone one own a JVC HA-MX100Z / 10B? studio monitors

Thanks for your impressions! I've never really had any problem with the foam pleather stock pads commonly found on studio monitors as I own a MDR 7506 and it fits my ears very well so the MX(X) pads will most likely do just good enough for me, I can only ever cite my worst stock pad experience...

Anyone one own a JVC HA-MX100Z / 10B? studio monitors

Hey thanks for the reply, yeah I've read that review quite some time ago due to it be being the one and only one here on Head-Fi and having seen most of that threads posters appraising the MX10B in high regard, though I always wondered if the MX100Z had that notch above it that would make it...

Anyone one own a JVC HA-MX100Z / 10B? studio monitors

I've seen very few reviews on both of these studio monitors, let alone ones in English and I was wondering if anyone has heard from the HA-MX100Z as it's apparently marketed as the HA-MX10B successor and if anyone could give descriptions of either one and if possible a comparison between them...

Great DAPs for 500 - 700$ (doesn't matter if it's desktop or portable)

Heh, thanks for the great insight as I'm always learning about all things audio especially since I'm just starting out, now I think I'm well informed enough to finally begin making the decision about what to go with as a setup to suite my usage

Great DAPs for 500 - 700$ (doesn't matter if it's desktop or portable)

Thanks for the recommendation looks like a great option in my budget range, also for the amp budget probably around the same price as the DAP though I might go for something 300$-ish, though I quite fine with anything higher than that (300 - 700 and slightly to moderately above if its worth the...

Great DAPs for 500 - 700$ (doesn't matter if it's desktop or portable)

I was going to get a new DAP and my budget is around 500-700$, though I don't know where to exactly start, I just need a great DAP to use simply for listening. Though I don't mind if it had extra features such as a built in amp or DAC or it being desktop or portable. Also it'd be great for an...

Looking to Buy Earphones @ $250/£180/€200 (Flexible)

You should look into the JVC FX IEMs series they've got pretty good bass with a slightly warm natural sound signature to them (I heard they have some differences among the sound signature for the different models in the FX series for the balance of neutral, warm and bass, with the woodies...

Large Replacement Ear Pads? like... REALLY large. I have Huge Ears.

Maybe you could buy some spare sony XB100 ear pads, I don't quite know that measurements though there quite large (basically pillows for ears kek) and last time I checked they have a special type of fastener that connects to the XB100 s so if you were to get them you might have to be open to...

What are the advantages/disadvantages of IEMs?

I'm most familiar with over ear and on ear cans, though I barely know anything about high-end IEMs and I'm just curious as to whether or not if there are any advantages to them besides there size and portability, such as sound stage, tonal quality, etc and also what are some of the disadvantages...

What makes a PC great for music listening, or. What are some of the best PCs for music listening, sound quality and fidelity etc.

Hello. I'm rather new here, even though I'm quite inexperienced with all things audio and Hi-Fi equipment I have a slightly above beginner understanding for over the ear headphones such as the industry standard mid tier mdr 7506 and the niche bass head cans sz2ooo to know that most of the music...
