Denon AH-7200
You can read posts by me or even better zolkis in this thread. He covered pads for 7200 extensively. To quickly answer your question in Universe pads - they fit, but they change the sound signature a bit too much for my taste. I've tried Ori, Universe and hifiman pads on 7200 and still using...- SAndreev

HIFIMAN Arya - Arya Stealth - Arya Organic :: Impressions Thread
Got my Arya on Friday. First impressions - good resolution, nice sub bass (even in comparison to HE560 and Denon 7200). Minor comfort issues on my rather small head, the headband adjuster refuses to stay at desired setting, had to fix it in place with a small piece of wire. Surprisingly I don't...- SAndreev

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
Don't worry about the power, it has plenty. I just prefer the MJ2 with ifi tubes, but it is more a matter of preference. Just try it. Also don't be shy to explore all the DSP options the DAC provides, you can really tailor the sound to your liking.- SAndreev

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
With latest firmware/drivers minor issues I had were fixed. the DAC part of ADI-2 DAC is its strongest side. Amp is decent but not extraordinary. It is powerful enough to drive most phones (don't forget there is a Hi-Power mode if you need), but I like the sound more out of my MJ2, except maybe...- SAndreev

These HPs are rather easy to drive. I tried them with Teac-UD301, ifi iDAC2, MJ2 and RME ADI-2 DAC and they perform quite good on all of them, very minor differences (in comparison to my other HPs). If you don't need balanced outputs I would try the iDAC2 - it has decent amp for low impedance...- SAndreev

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
I use it with my Denon 7200 (bio-cellulose drivers as well). I quite like it, the built-in amp is very decent. Maybe not as powerful to run HD800s, but I cannot comment on that as I don't have them. But the built in EQ is very very thorough, it might be useful with HD800s if you ever want to...- SAndreev

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
After a week with ADI 2 DAC I started using built-in amp a lot more and I quite like it. Very very impressive, especially given that it is paired with a really impressive DAC for the price. And all the comments on build and manual quality are true, it is really well made. Thumbs up to German...- SAndreev

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
Got the unit yesterday, very impressed by build quality and driver quality. Plan to mostly use it as a DAC, with occasional headphone amp when I want solid state sound for my D7200. Preliminary impressions on the built in amp are very positive, but I need more time to test properly.- SAndreev

I just did a comparison of stock pads to ZMF Universe pads (originally ordered for HE-560), and I still like the stock pads better on 7200. With Universe pads you feel more bass, but it kind of muddy and woolly to me and it creeps into low mids area which I don't like. Universe pads seem to be a...- SAndreev

Schiit Mjolnir 2 Listening Impressions
ifi NOS 6922 tubes (let's call them that) do live up to the hype. Really enjoying them now with HE-560, if someone is still on the fence about them - just go for them, for the price its hard to find anything better at the moment IMO. For last couple hours I tried some very different music from...- SAndreev

Yeah, unless I manage to get my hands on either of these pads really cheap, I'm not going to bother - I like stock pads on my D7200 and the overall sound.- SAndreev

Schiit Freya Impressions and Tube Rolling Thread
I had no complaints on my P3 pre-amp, except the volume knob (that stopped working properly 2 years in, but I mostly use remote so I didn't care), but Freya brought new life to my system, and I really like to tube mode. I've held myself up from posting here until I got the NGS (new gear syndrome) out of me, but I could no longer resist. Got my Freya about a week ago, and a pair of new production EH 6SN7. Tried the ZMF Universe pads (http://www.zmfheadphones.com/pads-and-cables/zmf-universe-pads) today on D7200. They are a bit thinner, less angled and just a tad bigger in diameter. The experience was similar to Ori pads - some may like this sound, but it's too far from the 7200's signature sound...- SAndreev

Tried ZMF Universe pads (http://www.zmfheadphones.com/pads-and-cables/zmf-universe-pads) with my 560 today (usually I have Ori pads fitted). It runs hot, but not too hot, I wouldn't worry in your place. You don't have to power cycle it multiple times per day. I usually turn it on when I come home, and turn it off when I go to bed, and all is fine. Nice gear BTW!- SAndreev

ZMF Ori pads on 7200 work for some genres of music, but they change the sound signature too much. In my trio of headphones i prefer Ori pads on HE-560, its a match made in heaven. I use them with Mjolnir 2 both with tubes and LISST - they sound awesome on both, though solid state fits them better IMO. I've also tried them directly from IFI iDac 2 - it has a half-decent amp built in - they sound good, though not as good as MJ2. Hell, I've even tried plugging them directly...- SAndreev
