Ok, some quick impressions against the Opus #1 I found the SR15 to have a bit more bass presence than the Opus, a bit more slam and a fair bit more weight, nothing excesive but its there. The SR15 also seemed to have a bit more sparkle and air in the highs and vocals in general sounded a lot...

Does your Magni not have pre-amp outputs?

I was planning on doing a comparison to the classic opus #1, I’ve also got a plenue D hanging around.

so far I’m enjoying my SR15, I’ve only used it with my campfire audio Jupiter’s and Cascade, both of which I thought sounded excellent, I’ll put up some more in depth thoughts at a later date and maybe see how it handles some Senns or Focals, but I tend to leave big cans for desktop amps.

Not particularly, it seemed to drive it well enough as far as volume goes, I listen at around 60-70% on the iPad, seems to have good dynamics and slam. Doesn’t quite have the sheer mass of sound produced from my mojo though. Edit: On further reflection its definitely a bit thin sounding from...

I’ve got the previous model iPad Pro and the cascade sounds good out of that, though I mostly use it for watching movies the sound quality was top notch.

You’d be surprised how much you can shave off costs with economies of scope & scale, not to mention their profit margin will be much slimmer

I'm in the market for a new amp and seems like it'll do the job, I'll probably have to go a separate dac though as my USB's hella noisy

I’m a huge fan of KEF speakers so I’d go the LS50’s, just keep in mind their amping requirements....also they’re not exactly small.

When I was using my Mojo/Poly on the train the other day I used them for around 5 hours powering some campfire audio cascades. My mojos light hit yellow first and they only reached yellow towards the very end of the 5 hours so I think they would have made 9 hours.

Personally I find it works great, I've had no issues controlling the device from my phone.....but I know a few people have had issues and it's not always the quickest or most convent device to use, the sound qualities about as good as it gets from a portable device though.

Off the top of my head there’s the Schiit Jotunheim, that has everything you want and is reasonably priced. There’s also the massdrop sdac+liquid carbon combo but I imagine you want it sooner rather than later.

I was looking at getting my fiancé some noble iems but this was exactly the problem I found, her ears are tiny and most average size iems are too big let alone larger ones.

Maybe? I'd try and demo it first though as its entirely going to be based on how much the cable affects the impedance. Depending on the player the balanced output may provide less hiss, iFi also makes an interconnect thing that's meant to reduce hiss but I haven't tried it and have know idea how...
