PW Audio Cables Discussion Thread
I think he meant variations in the external design/appearance, not the sound like: 1. plug shrink wrap is black on his (mine is clear) 2. splitter piece is wood on his (mine is plastic splitter with wood slider) 3. mmcx connector is plastic on his (mine is metal)- Kervsky

Review by 'Kervsky' on item 'BQEYZ KB100'
Introduction: BQEYZ is a relatively new company to the audio scene that's come to light recently. Though as I discovered, they have a pretty experienced development team that handles their products and that they seem to favor a certain style in terms of driver configuration, this is evident with...- Kervsky

Review by 'Kervsky' on item 'Anew U1'
Introduction: ANEW is, well, a new Chinese audio company that just recently started making IEMs, and this product rather surprised me with it's sound on first hear, the ANEW U1, a single dynamic with a carbon nanotube diaphragm that techwise was not entirely new but rare enough that it is...- Kervsky

Review by 'Kervsky' on item 'Meze 12 Classics'
Introduction: Meze Audio, is a company that is well known, even in the Asian markets that are far from their native land of Baia Mare, Romania. It is here, amongst the scenic and medieval touched landscape that Antonio Meze, through his love for music, started Meze Audio in 2009. Starting small...- Kervsky

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
[edited coz I didnt read you had a WM1a  my bad] On the WM1a, I am using a locally made SPC coaxial balanced cable, but more than the cable, the WM1a has a trait wherein the balanced is more articulate, detailed, dynamic and more balanced in tonality than single end; that's aside...- Kervsky

Try using a tip that's a size smaller than what you're used to, MS sized spiral dots are ok for me (can be fidgety if you don't pull your ears up and back to straighten the ear canal) same as the smallest final audio tips, Unfortunately I don't have a smaller sized acoustune aet08/07 tips to try...- Kervsky

Anew U1 Impressions Thread
The shell of the U1 feels solid, and feels a bit thicker than the IT01. As I compare both, the semi-transparency of the it01 makes me feel it is thinner in shell material than the U1, so though I cannot guarantee it's survivability through sleeping (as I can never sleep with sound around me) I...- Kervsky

BQEYZ KB100 Impressions
So I got this KB100 recently and found it to be quite interesting in a really good way, this hybrid (1DD + 2BA) - sounds a bit on the balanced side with a little emphasis on the bass. If you have questions about it, I'll try to answer as best as I can. Stock photos from Penon KB100 page.- Kervsky

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
Both cases seem to derive problems from the thinness or weakness of the material. I used those generic tips from some of my China IEMs, its still holding from all of the pulling and installing i did. A hole from a huge safety pin should prevent tearing as its just a hole. The sewing implement i...- Kervsky

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
By that I'm assuming you cut slits on the very tip of the silicone tip? Which should work to bleed out air, but can invite tearing of the tip from accidents. I opted for a hole in the tube since it's furthest away from being touched or manipulated once done. Either is fine I believe, but in...- Kervsky

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
If driver flex is preventing the transmission of sound, you could try this on any cheap tip before doing it on some pricier tips. Get a thickish pin (or in my case this hook cutter - i forgot what it's called) and check the insertion length of the atlas for that tip, puncture a hole in the tip...- Kervsky
