I think Sandu has made an effort to explain the differences between Volot and Oor in words and it's not always easy to do that. I am convinced that at these levels the differences are quite subtle and easily detectable only with an A / B comparison.

I confirm. The Primaluna series of amplifiers have very good headphone output. I use a P.L. Dialogue Premium HD with Susvara and Hd 800 and is very good as a $ 4000 or more headphone amp.

I have tried a Naim 5si with He1000 V1 and V2. Hifiman headphones sound good with Naim. Lots of punch and rhythm. I believe it will be the same with Susvara.

With tubes you need patience, time and a certain amount of money to test. With SS, everything is simpler with fewer unexpected events. But less fun.

I use headphone output (7 Watt on 60 Ohmm). Keep in mind that 8 EL34 have more grip and control over the low range than the 4. Maybe the difference between you and me is this. Furthermore, the use of Eat dumpers accentuates the control of harmonics. My 5 cents 🙂

I hear a big improvement in bass articulation with these Eat Dumpers on the 12au7 NOS which are very mic.

With my Primaluna HP after 30 minutes of warming up I no longer feel any improvement. Making expensive tubes rolling with NOS improved the sound in an impressive way.
