I used to own the Sennheiser ie800s which I liked a lot however I could never obtain a secure fit even with the oval tips so I ended up selling them. Had the fit not been an issue I would have kept then as I liked them a lot.

Yup whether you believe in burn-in or not Beyer recommends 100 hours of burn-in on the Xelentos for optimum sound quality. My opinion is that burn-in helped the Xelentos as the bass is still very powerful but tighter and more controlled after burn-in.

That's what I love my Lyra IIs-great bass combined with very easy to listen to but also engaging and dynamic sound-draws you into the music. Also extremely comfortable so you can listen for hours at a time. Great job Ken & Co.
