Looking for good iem for audio books
I see - makes sense with those exchangeable faceplate. Does the um10 have a similar amount of clarity as the w10 to be great with voices? I thought I read somewhere they are a bit darker sounding?- PapaHet

Looking for good iem for audio books
Thanks man! After some investigation I am currently fancying the W10. Sounds they are pretty good with clarity in the mid & treble department. They seem to be lacking some bass but I think that is fine for that very purpose. My DM6 are also not super Bass Heavy. I might give these a try if there...- PapaHet

Looking for good iem for audio books
Hey guys, I am listening to audio books when going to bed and I am currently looking for a good iem that does two things in particular very good: 1. Low profile / small & comfy for side sleeping 2. Great sound for audio books / voices I read a lot about the shure se215 which is told to...- PapaHet

Btw...lately I took some new Photos of my Gear including the DM6 with the Nicehck Copper Cable & Symbio Tips. Just because we haven´t seen enough pictures of these earbuds :grimacing: They come across quite redish on these but that is due to the film Processing I did during the edit - they are...- PapaHet

Assuming you guys are talking about the clarinet junky or whatever his name is, being german, it is important for me, that I am pretty certain from his strong accent, for him to be Austrian (us Germans also don´t wanna be confused with Austrians :joy::joy::joy:) - I am however just kidding - PapaHet

Exactly what I experienced. The DM6 are a bit sparkly and also I had to get used to that fact too but now it just sounds great to my ears. I also own the Tinaudio T2Pro and feel they a quite a notch brighter than the DM6 so it is all relative.- PapaHet

Guys, this might be a weird question but has any of you T2 pro owners experienced issues with allergic reactions? My skin is sensetive to Nickel - I know that from jewellery and when I was using my T2 for the first time when I went to bed, I fell asleep wearing them. During the night I put them...- PapaHet

Looking for budget DAP for the gym
Yea, maybe the xduoo X10. The 100 € mark is not set in stone but I rather start low and work my way up if needed :-) Also I was looking into the Fiio X3 MK II which should be quite nice. I really don´t know - it seems there is quite a lot of players out there around the 100 - 200 € range so...- PapaHet

Looking for budget DAP for the gym
Guys, I hope you can help me out. I´m tired of carrying my clunky phone to the gym and am looking for a small budget DAP for that purpose. I was thinking about the Shanling M1 but not sure if there is better options out there. Ideally the device should feature: Good Sound SD Card Slot...- PapaHet

Totally, to my ears DM6 & Q1 is a great sounding combo - however, I am new to the hobby and my gear portfolio is pretty small meaning i don´t have much to compare it with. I´d love to compare it to one of those sexy Sony & else DAPs but up until now I am super happy with what I have. Yes...- PapaHet

I run them balanced through a Fiio Q1 MK2 connected to my Huawei P9 being the source mainly loaded with FLAC files. For the gym I don´t wanna carry the Q1 around and just plug them into my phone single ended. The quality is noticably better when playing balanced tough. Also I own a Zishan DSD...- PapaHet

Nice, thanks mate. I just received my balanced cable yesterday - have not yet tested how the signal changes with it compared to the single ended but great to hear that this will certainly juice things up. So are you saying I will already with the balanced cable get to the best performance of the...- PapaHet

Hi guys, I am currently planning on buying a more powerful Amp to run my HE4XX. I own the Fiio Q1 which runs them nicely and up to the maximum volumes I would listen to. Still with more headroom and a more powerful Amp, I was told the HE4xxs will improve in Sound Stage, Instrument Separation...- PapaHet

Hi all, found a pair of used HE4XX which should arrive soon. Any recommendations on additional (better) pads to get & eventually a better cable? Does it make sense to get a balanced cable for these or will this not be much of a difference? Thanks all- PapaHet
