They seem to be lacking some bass but I think that is fine for that very purpose. My DM6 are also not super Bass Heavy. I might give these a try if there...

Exactly what I experienced. The DM6 are a bit sparkly and also I had to get used to that fact too but now it just sounds great to my ears. I also own the Tinaudio T2Pro and feel they a quite a notch brighter than the DM6 so it is all relative.
