I personally didn't need a refit with my N8. Most of it comes down to how good your impressions are. If all you feel is a little bit of discomfort, give it a week or so. If it's pain, you probably need a refit.

When I open my jaw abnormally far I lose seal, apart from that, I can talk/sing and not lose seal. It will very person to person though due to facial structure and such.

CAFO is a great song. Another one of my favorites of theirs is Para Mexer off The Joy of Motion album.

I have the N8 and personally love it. It does have a lot of bass, but not to the point where it overshadows the mid/high imo. I look forward to getting the FIR Audio Atom XL to tune them a little bit. I don't have a lot to compare it to being that I stepped up to them from the Shure se535's.

Agreed. My N8t's failed QC. I was disappointed because it set it back about a week, but at the same time it shows they take a lot of pride in their work and aren't doing anything half way.

Honestly, if it was me I'd just reach out to them, explain what happened and ask if there's anything they could do for me. Worst case, they say no, you waste 10 minutes on the phone and you sit through the wait period anyways. My bet, 64 Audio is a stand up company, even if they don't put a rush...

That is for sure. Yeah, I ordered mine during the Black Friday sale so the rush order wasn't an option thankfully, it forced me to "save money." haha.

Same thing happened to me. Something in the assembly process was not up to perfection and they went back and re-did it.

Seeing that "Shipped" check mark after 6 weeks to the day of waiting was the most giddy I've been quite possibly ever.. haha.

Thanks! Ah! Very nice, they're worth the wait. Mine took six (long and painful) weeks, but they are totally worth it. As far as out of the MBP output, still sound good. I'd say they're more refined(?) with the dragonfly though.

Well, my Monday started off right. FedEx delivered at 09:00 today. The N8 is my first set of 64's and all I can say is wow. The seal is amazing, I didn't use a bite block when getting my impressions done and no matter what face I make, yawn, open my mouth, etc the seal won't break. Thoroughly...

The only email you will get is that they're in production. I'm assuming I'll get an email saying they've shipped when they do. Only way to see your status is by logging into your account on their site, from what I see.

Is this pretty common to have happen? On the 4th I got Faceplates Applied and the 10th I got the check mark for Graphics Applied. Yesterday I checked in only to find a new date, the 14th, next to Faceplates applied. Thursday the 17th will mark 6 weeks in production, granted 4 business days...

Ah, that's a bummer. I'm sure they'll be worth the wait though!
