    Thanks Joe, the permission fix is brilliant, pretty happy with Oreo at the moment. I just can't pair the R6 to my soundbar on Oreo, which was fine on MM, but seriously no big deal. So don't worry too much about it :)

    Thanks mate, i never installed the driver from hiby, just used windows one, and never had problem installing the oreo update.

    I am having the same battery drain on oreo using battery mode 1, but battery mode 2 seems to be much better. I would suggest trying them out. I found that in general Marshmallow is more stable than Oreo for Hiby R6, but YMMV

    hmm.....after further observation, it looks like the behaviour is if the charger plugged in, on battery it does goes off. Sorry false alarm!

    Hi Guys, Just updated to Oreo, and i noticed that my R6 doesn't go to standby automatically, i.e. the screen will go dark after inactivity, but not standby. Anybody had this issue? I am on 1.12G beta Thanks, daduy
