Well, I mean the dac part of the RME is very good. The amp part drive low impedance headphones pretty well, but just decenlty IMO if the headphones are 300ohm or above. The RME -> Mogwai combo should be very good.

I think you'll like the RME ADI-2 Dac piece, but I'll be surprised if you prefer the ADI-2 amp over the Mogwai. The ADI-2 amp is decent, but the Mogwai should be better, especially with 300ohm headphones.

Well I got the Unison installed, and the new card is getting warmed up. I dont know how long burn in is, on the new card, but I could hear improvements over the first 2 hours anyway. I’ll let it play music over the next day or so, to help it along. 😎
