Eh sadly I'm not interested in any of those IEMs. I love the sound of the Andros but the fit isn't quite right. I'll try the Symbios though.

Yeah I'll likely stay SE for mobile use. I see no reason to replace my Mojo, but I'm eyeing the A90 for a new pair of Aryas, and I already have a balanced cable for my Gemini, so the wheels started turning.

Of course, if you hear a difference, or if it makes you happy, it's your money, so have at it. It's just not my cup of tea. What unbalance source have you tested?

I don't believe the cable quality stuff. I once did an experiment with some very high quality speakers where I replaced the $10,000 cables my friend had with unprotected copper wire I had lying around. In a blind A/B neither of us could tell a difference. I'm talking about running it balanced...

This amp is actually smaller than the D70. I thought they would make a good stack... Maybe the A90 would have to go on top

Eh I've tried both V20 and V30, and they didn't come close to Mojo's performance. DAC SINAD measures around the same I think, but the AMP in the Mojo is quite a bit better, more powerful, more granular, and I'm able to hook it up to my laptop. No multi out on V20...

For someone with Andros and Solaris 2020, is the insertion depth any different? I found Andro with comply T400s to be a bit too shallow.

Not really considering upgrading, but does anyone think there is a portable AMP/DAC better than Mojo in the same form factor? I tried the Q5 but wasn't a fan of the sound.

I cant speak for the M1060s, but the bass on the LCD-2C is the most linear and high resolution I've heard on any headphone. Admittedly I haven't heard stuff like the HEK or Susvara yet, but so far its taken the cake.

Does it look like SoCal Canjam will be in the summer again next year?
