Yes, those are the new pads. They have more angle and bulge more on the edge between velour and pleather. You’re good to go

They found a bug in firmware 1.8.0 on the balanced output. They are releasing a fix tomorrow The unbalanced output is unchanged, sound should be no different than before

Yeah, pretty much any headphone that doesn’t have Beyer treble is dark in his book, so... Also hiding likes / dislikes and forbidding comments is not a guarantee of transparency IMO
