You can try listen with ground adapter from ddHifi or PWA, if that true You have 1950s with shielding. Turn off wifi/bt, 2.4G prone to interfere a lot - move to 5G instead.- trez0r

Lotoo seems to be also sensitive... I move from Lexar microsd (adapter) to full size sd - designed for photo by year or two ago... Notice similar improvements as Sony/Swissbit combo recently. Sp3k dont bother as others two and I use it with sandisk extreme/pro (?) - nothing fency.- trez0r

I find that Sony pairs nicely with BA/all-BA iems... maybe due to weakly output :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: For single DDs, tribryds I strongly suggest HG, or another DAP :P- trez0r

After update, I can't connect via File Drop to my DAP... Port (tcp/1212) is open, but I cant negotiate ftp protocol (active, passive). It looks like ftp server stuck at fqdn resolve (?)... Its works at previous FW. EDIT: Its works finally :/ I tapped to on/off icon several times :scream:- trez0r

Astell&Kern A&ultima SP3000
Are you curious at the technical level? For 'casual listeners' both methods improve quality of sound - upsampling vs converting. Sonically its depends :P In short, lossless, hi-res track I choose 'Max PCM', for compressed tracks I prefer 'Max DSD'.- trez0r

SP3k with DAR turn on, lossy (?) converts PCM to DSD, by default. U can change to typical upsampling in settings. Those 'smoothness' comes the way DSD works in short - 1bit probe vs 'uniform' intervals...- trez0r
