Yes, each XLR connector would need 3. Positive, Negative, and Ground. The two Ground leads would be combined and connected to the sleeve (the S of TRRRS) of the 4.4mm connector.

It doesn't seem like anyone currently offers a "cable mount" female Sennheiser HD600 Series connector. One vendor that has custom fabricated connectors for me in the past, is looking into the cost.

I have not seen the female Sennheiser connectors, but I will make some inquiries.
