    90 dB is great for a few minutes. About 80 dB is just right for most of my listening. my neighbours complain above 72 dB . Headphones help ease the pain .

    I’m using AKG K812 and do not find them bass heavy at all. In fact they are neutral and present music very well. Coming from a high ed speaker rig I’m amazed at how good the K812 sounds.

    I am studying  heart sounds from a  cd off my laptop.  Comfort and sound quality is absolotutely critical.  it would be nice if i could also listen to music off a headphone amp.  please help me choose . price range $400.

    i have an audiophlle stereo/speaker system and considering entering the Headphone world. i have a Wadia DAC . my preference is Rock,Blues, acoustic music and pretty much everything else. i have heard about the Stax/smyth realiser and would like help choosing headphone/amplifier/cable.
