I agree, but Audirvana should really have a contention so that the application can operate when the license servers are down. Their support is a clown show too. I endure their bullsh*t for the very reason that you cite, but one day that won't be enough.

Max plate voltage on the CV1135 is 500V! Heater current is .21, so even with 2 of them to replace a 6SN7, heater current would be less at .42A vs. the .6A of a 6SN7. Interesting tube and I don't see anything that would create a hazard in the place of any 6SN7.
