I've got a pair of matte and glossy and you only really notice the difference right as you put them in or take them out. Glossy is smoother to put in and matte is easier to take out since its less "sticky". But, once they warm up to body temp while you wear them, I think they're about the same.

Finally got to listen to my Rn6 today. While I think the Xe6 is still very much the crown jewel of the FiR lineup, I'd probably recommend the Rn6 to the uninitiated; great versatility with just a bit of that Xe6 special sauce to get acquainted.

I wonder how many ciem Radons there are at this point lol

I think FR graphs can be a bit misleading, especially for the Xe6 since it misses out on a lot of what makes the Xe6 special. Imo, Xe6 is probably the farthest from "clinical" even though it still has totl detail. I'd say the Rn6 is closer to the Odyssey, but most IEMs could be called more...
