Focal Elegia - what do you think?
I agree. Have both and the Clears. Elegia when found at current low prices is a super deal. Bathys is still amazing though!- DarknessEclipse

Focal Bathys - Wireless ANC Over-Ear Headphone
I use Focal Clear/Elegia with my Mojo2+Poly but I did try Bathys just for fun. Not 3.5mm though! The mconnect app I use was streaming music from Poly SD card and redirecting to my mobile. Bathys was just connected to it. As for DAC use, I do use Bathys 3.5mm to RME ADI-2 DAC FS most of times...- DarknessEclipse

RAI Penta -- Meze Audio's Flagship IEM with Penta Hybrid Driver Technology
I am also not using my IEMs as much due to change in life and work patterns. But still love my RAIs! I find them relaxing and really enjoyable for something you stick in your ears - and great gaming companion when you do not fancy headphones.- DarknessEclipse

Focal Bathys - Wireless ANC Over-Ear Headphone
I think you are right and depends on the source, but also on the connection type. I feel that my mobile and Steam Deck have good volume steps when in DAC-mode. 3.5 instead does have big steps (edit, actually also bluetooth). I generally use this mode with portable consoles or with the RME ADI 2...- DarknessEclipse

Focal Bathys - Wireless ANC Over-Ear Headphone
I think an headband cover would be ideal, I use the Misodiko headband cover for both Focal Clear and Elegia (need to buy one for Bathys as well).- DarknessEclipse

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Mojo 2 + Poly paired with Cayin C9 is my main listening setup. I was interested in getting a Hugo 2 but wanted to keep the setup as much 'transportable' as possible, Mojo 2 can be detached making it smaller. I highly recommend this setup for people like me that have a small house, move around a...- DarknessEclipse

Best game soundtrack?
I absolutely agree, it's a fantastic soundtrack! I am kind of obsessed with 'Ascension'. Speaking of best soundtracks, Xenoblade Chronicles games have top tier soundtracks. This is the best battle theme for me:- DarknessEclipse

Console Gaming DAC Options
I use an RME ADI-2 DAC FS connected via optical to the TV. This way I can use all my consoles and docked portables (Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck). It's ideal for me as I can use headphones, IEMs and speakers. Can also tailor EQ and adjust treble/bass when I want. ADI 2 can change the source...- DarknessEclipse

What is your favorite video game?
I have completed many videogames. But the top 3 that easily come in mind are classics: - Brave Fencer Musashi - Final Fantasy IX - Super Mario 64 Not necessarily the best, but still love them like the first time. Replayed Musashi on Steam Deck last week, amazing!- DarknessEclipse

Focal Clear headphones
Both are the same headphone. I own the pro and the main reason I bought them at the time was the colour and the extra set of earpads. Cables are not great, same as the original Clear version. If you find a great deal and comparable to the current OG deals, I would think about it.- DarknessEclipse

Focal Elegia - what do you think?
Just popping in to say that Focal Elegia sound amazing when playing 'The Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom'. They really make the soundtrack shine, especially the piano notes. Focal Clear are lovely, but I prefer Elegia with it.- DarknessEclipse

Cayin C9: Dual Nutube, Fully Balanced Class A/AB Portable HeadAmp
Mine did not use to, but recently yes. Need to be extra careful now. This started happening when I switched to a balanced cable for my Elegia/Clears and use NuTube+Class A mode. C9 is definitely hotter when using it balanced, and maybe the warmth changed the shape of the case just slightly. I...- DarknessEclipse

Dumb question about Focal’s Hardshell Case
I have two cases, received with Clear and Elegia. The top velcro patch came with a 3.5mm to 6.5mm converter in it. Never moved it from there, but I bet it's for storing small adapters.- DarknessEclipse

Rank the Headphones that You Own.
Yes, stock pads. Now they are all cracked and dry. To be totally honest, I don't like those headphones. Not sure why, they are too fatiguing for me - maybe it's their sibilance? I kept them because I had a great deal at the time and my wife likes them. Should buy some new pads.- DarknessEclipse

Rate the video games you're currently playing
Octopath Traveler 2. It's a more of the same, but this time it pulled me in straight away (started with Throné, now experiencing Osvald first chapters). Soundtrack is amazing like the first game - make sure to use your hi-end headphones or speakers.- DarknessEclipse

Best game soundtrack?
All Nier games have an amazing soundtrack! In general, Squaresoft and Square Enix games have super-soundtracks. The recent Octopath Traveler games and Triangle Strategy are fantastic too. Here is one I am enjoying a lot at the moment:- DarknessEclipse

Focal Bathys - Wireless ANC Over-Ear Headphone
Not for the office, but when I use them for gaming it's likely for 2 to 5 hours (with breaks). Comfort is okay, never had issues - and they are the least fatiguing headphones I own. But this might differ for you and also dipends on how you use them.- DarknessEclipse

Portable DAC for Focal Clear OGs
Audio gear synergy is definitely a thing. And I think you are right with Focal's closed back, my Focal Elegia with Dekoni Limited Stellia pads sounds amazing with a Mojo 2 and Poly pairing. Focal Clear sounds good but there is something that pushes me off a bit. In fact I always add a Cayin C9...- DarknessEclipse

Focal Bathys - Wireless ANC Over-Ear Headphone
I am in the UK as well, my set was purchased from morecoco (thanks again guys!). I do not have clipping issues at all, even at high volume. I use my set with all its connections based on my needs. DAC-mode sounds clean enough for me, better than wired/bluetooth, maybe less relaxed but it's good.- DarknessEclipse
