This is just one man’s opinion, but I am very satisfied with the sound of my Yinman 600s out of my VE Megatron. The sound is even better when I run it through the FX Sound app on my PC.

You probably already noticed this, but these have different specs (I am assuming different drivers). The cheaper one is 110 dB sensitivity, and the more expensive one is 98 dB.

I was thinking that the Yinmans were more smooth cacao with a scoop of MCT oil, and the RW3000s were perhaps orange sherbet, but you're right, let's forget the whole thing...

Have you tried just going to AliExpress and searching for yinman 600? If all else fails, go to the store and message the seller. These are my favorite buds, and many others agree.

No no, I had the original brain fott. As @mt877 points out, this adapter is the figure 4 category with zero problems.

Just to add mud to the fire, here's a picture of the adapter in question, made for me by Jim Park of TGXear, for $30. If you buy an earbud from him, ask him for a bundle deal.
