Earbuds Round-Up
I would take the TRN EMX, its not expensive and I find it much better then TRN EMA, NiceHCK EB2S and JBL Tune 205. While the last one, the JBL Tune 205 is very comfortable, maybe it's a good option for listening to audio books.- hansnaert

I think the ideal nozzle length is very personal, I like IEMs with long nozzles as AS16pro. I use them with a small tip while short ones, as PR3, I use the large tips. These long nozzles give me a much better noise isolation.- hansnaert

Did you test it with foam tips? I didn't experience much different between PR2v2 and PR3 - maybe the mids are more present, probably too have a higher sensitivity, measured at 1kHz ...- hansnaert

I received my PR3 and have no sibilance with foam tips. The PR3 sound is almost the same as the PR2 v2, I would wonder if you can detect the difference in a blind test. Maybe the sensitivity difference (volume) is a little noticeable, I tested with left PR2 and right PR3 ...- hansnaert

I would recommend the TRN EMX with donut foams, but there is not much subbass. I find it good for metal, rock and acoustic, maybe not so good for pop.- hansnaert

And not to forget the TRN EMX with 2 pin QDC. (I'm very happy with the TRN EMX, it sound much better then other low costs earbuds as NiceHCK EB2S or TRN EMA - and you can attach a boom mic.)- hansnaert

I have a Simgot EW200, probably more or less comparable with the EA500. I don't find it a spectacular set, not as detailed as I hoped. The IEM is also small, and therefore for me more difficult to have a good fit, compared to the bigger KZ IEMS that I have. I would advice for a PR2 and an...- hansnaert

I have the CCA BTX, I think it is comparable with the AZ20 If I look on the graphs of the AS16 Pro, driven with the CCA BTX (https://pw.squig.link/?share=KZ_AS16_Pro_BTX I think its driven with the CCA BTX) - it looks like there is a series resistance in the driver. That may the reason of the...- hansnaert

I like also IEM's with lot of details like KZ PR2 and KZ AS16 Pro. For the moment I use the TRN EMX a lot, more than the IEM's. It gives a detailed sound but the subbass is not present. I can compare with TRN EMA and NiceHCK EB2S, which gives not as detailed sound. My advice is too go for a...- hansnaert

The AS16 pro, normal version, is very good. I use the normal version with a CCA BTX bluetooth set - the high impedance with on my desktop, needs more power. @Nimweth I hope KZ releases a good pair of earbuds, I love the TRN EMX but would like a version of KZ. Have you an idea how the TRN EMX...- hansnaert

I would spend a litle more an go for the TRN Emx (+-40 euro) and the TRN Redchain Gaming Cable (+-12 euro) With the TRN EMX, the cable goes around the ear and a real boom mic is useable. I have a EB2S and TRN EMA, but I find the sound not so refined. I like the TRN EMX very much, I find it...- hansnaert

the CVJ boomset gives some troubles ... the audio output is on the microphone input, even without IEM's connected edit: after some measurements, the MIC is connected between the Mic signal and the R signal- hansnaert

Nice review I like them with the Dunu S&S XL eartips. For sound quality, I find the KZ PR2 with the CVJ Hato (boom microphone) better - but it's more expensive (35 euro + 15 euro)- hansnaert

I think its better to buy the PR2 and the AS16 Pro (High Impedance) - a good duo, and they have enough difference. The AS24 is quite expensive if you compare the drivers with the AS16 Pro, and the AS16 Pro has an extra bass BA.- hansnaert

Nice review. I find the sound quality of the EW200 exceptionally good, I find it better then KZ ZVX. The IEM has very less isolation, a significant difference compared to the KZ PR2 and KZ AS16 PRO. For using at home, I find that a positive point.- hansnaert

Good review! I enjoy the PR2 only with some EQ on it (with Equalizer APO) I must add 2.5dB between 400Hz and 1000Hz for giving the male voices more thickness Without EQ, I prefer the KZ A16Pro High Impedance- hansnaert

Hi @PhonoPhi, @Atek2019 , I think the CCA HM20 is a interesting version with a new DD and 7 BA's. I didn't buy (maybe later?), but according the youtube review of Jordan Oki, it's good (a smaller AS16 Pro), and it has much bass.- hansnaert

I watched the review of Jordan Oki and he finds the CCA Duo not that good - all details are coming together and not spread out over the stage. As I agree with his review of the AS16 Pro, I think I will find the stage also too small. My best IEM is the AS16 Pro High Imp - and I bought a spare...- hansnaert
