Just wanted to give another shoutout to ZMF's amazing customer service. Had a cable come in with a loose Mini XLR connector. Sent the team a video of it rattling and they sent me a new cable right away.

Eyeballing a diamond bottom ECC801s. Worried about the microphonics but I think it should be fine.

Raytheon 2C52 and it's easily my favorite. I snagged the last two from Tube Depot and they're the quietest tube that I've gotten a chance to try. I have a Sylvania 12SL7 and a Sylvania coin base 12SL7 but they're a bit noisier. I haven't gotten a chance to try any really fancy 12AT7 tubes yet...

It really is just such an amazing combo. The pairing really adds a lot of texture to the music and it's almost like I'm transported to the recording studio.

They sound incredible too. The bass is so much deeper than I have ever experienced on a headphone before and I love it.

IRRC Atmos cables are the DIY cable kits they sell, so it’ll probably be that wiring with an assortment of colored sleeves and discontinued Y splitters they were showing off.

Man, I just saw that there were a couple prototype cables for sale that I missed out on. Can’t help but wonder if someone managed to snag a prototype Grand Palladium cable for $99…

Couldn’t hold back from getting a Salire and an Atmos cable. Really excited to see what color/material combinations I get.

If you’re interested in the WA 6 but worried about power, you could also consider the WA 6 SE. It’s on Audeze’s recommended list of amps and has a lot more power than the base WA 6. They’re going for crazy cheap used in classifieds, less than half the MSRP of $1500.

I really hope they do a Bay Area CanJam again in the future! Unfortunately I just missed out on the last meet.

I can’t wait either. I’m definitely satisfied with the Kenzie’s power output for my LCD-2 so I might not even need a Mainline if I just end up having too much fun with the Crack. Maybe save that money for one of the 300B speaker amps.

I might have to make some space for a Mainline kit soon. I have the Kenzie OG with an Atticus on the way at the moment and I’m really loving the slam and dynamics of it at the moment. Although I might try and build a Crack first just to warm up.
