Cen.Grand DSDAC 1.0 Deluxe - ending point in my search for a new reference
You do not have to use the proprietary connection between the DAC and streamer, you can still use USB if you prefer. It will be interesting though to compare USB against the proprietary connection which by the way is called POW and has been patented.- ArthurPower

Cen.Grand DSDAC 1.0 Deluxe - ending point in my search for a new reference
I think the main thing the LHY UIP is providing in this application is galvanic isolation from a computer / music server that doesn't have isolation on the USB outputs. So less digital noise is being transferred to the DAC.- ArthurPower

Violectric V222 and V202
Inside the V222 is a ground jumper (please check the manual). You can try setting it in the other position and see if the ground loop stops on that receptacle.- ArthurPower

This LHY UIP has me intrigued. I sell several different DDC's but I have never tried a USB re-clocker. What audible differences are being heard?- ArthurPower

Interesting suggestion I will add that to my list. Should be easy to add +/- 6, 12, & 18 db options. I recall people wanting more then 12 db in the past so I think many would benifit from this.- ArthurPower
