Alright, here's the answer The comparator for the switch-off on channel A was faulty and produced a wrong logic signal. Very clear fault, so easy to find and repair. All connectors were fine. A very rare mistake. Was something else then. :)

Sending and receiving stuff for repair purposes don’t incur in any customs or VAT tax if properly declared. I just had my Zähl HM1 repaired and I didn’t got charged anything for sending or receiving it from Switzerland to Germany.

The german distributor just announced a bundle with up to 15% discount. Won't be cheap anyways, as the bundle includes the Immanis and the Envy or SAEQ's Armageddon. I'm not in need of an amp, but those who are and got deep pockets can rejoice!

I should receive my fixed HM1 tomorrow. Haven't been told what the issue was yet, but I guess it was not a complicated one, as they just took one day to fix it.

True. The site states the 3m isn't compatible with the TI-b interface (and the Magna/Immanis interface is the same under other looks).

I think there's a 3m version. No shorter lenghts as far as I know. It isn't that easy given the strict requirements the cable must achieve.
