Design
Buyer can choose each color faceplate and shell.
My color order is
Faceplate; Transparent Purple
Shell; Transparent Blue
Here it is. It's so beautiful.

but I think design is really high quality.
Sound
My gear;
DAP: Yin Lu Mei D200+ (AK4497EQ)
Cable: 7N Gold plated copper DIY cable
8EV is made of the same 8BA drivers as Vision Ears VE8
and sound of 1216.ears 8EV is inspired by Vision Ears VE8 and 1964 V6-stage.
8EV has the dynamic power from V6-stage and the nice vocal and smooth treble from VE8.
Bass is Tight and Speedy.
The 8EV bass is very tight and powerful.It has detail and speed.
It is not interfere midrange and high frequency.
Mid is very clear.
Sound separation is awesome.I can hear each instruments and vocal very clearly.
The mid is high resolution and precision sound.
Treble is smooth.
The treble is really smooth and extends quite well.I don't feel harsh.
Sound particle is very detailed and sparkling!
Summary
1216.ears 8EV is TOTL.
If I need power, it give me a certain power, dynamic and emotional.
When I need comfort and wonderful treble, it give me crystal clear of vocal and smooth treble expression.
Sound is similar to Vision Ears VE8, but price is...839USD.
It is worth paying more.
