When you are not basshead, that boosted bass with extra impact and weight can be problematic with already bassy iems.

I have a query though. I have an ATH-R70X and am looking for a warm sounding dap. The r70x shine most on my K7. Mojo 2 is also able to drive them fine but if I do A/B testing with the K7 then it's a considerable step up.
So I am looking for something that would give enough power and warmth to the music with r70x.
Which would be the best/optional pairing with the r70x -
- kann max/kann alpha or the SE300 or hiby RS6?
Or any other for that matter

Hello, love your reviews and if I may suggest! With all those new high end not chip based DAPs coming out with their own flavour R2R/1bit, it would be great if you could do a "comparo of the DAP DACs" bypassing their amp coloring! RS8, SE300, N7, LP...

Coming from a RS8 or even a DX320 I would not describe the SE300 as big and heavy. It feels much lighter compared to those two. If you are walking with it you will feel some heft but for me a $2000 DAP that has heft feels like it is worth more (not necessarily true just a perception).
