Thanks for the interesting impression - a bit too many contradictions. For example, "not flashy" but "most energetic presentation", "bright but neutral", "Playing right on the edge" but "gentle", "Voices are more relaxed and seem more distant" but "mids have a little more fullness and the voices move slightly into the foreground", "perfect frequency response" but "bright" and many others.
Utopia 22 is warm neutral for me and Composer bright neutral. There is no ideal line what is called neutral. Harman is neutral? Not for me for example.
The energetic presentation is one attribute but it not standout from the rest that's the secret of Composer. It has so many good attributes that you don't sink in that from the first minute on. Th900 flashes in bass, 1266 TC in slam but Composer has many very good attributes so you don't concentrate at one from the beginning that is what I mean with not flashy from the beginning.
Bright and not sparkling are not mutually exclusive
