The J3 doesn't use an HDD, it has solid state memory, hence the smaller size. Nice review though.

Depending on the format played, it should be able to last up to two full days (around 40 hours) with the screen off. Mine does.

Regarding the storage space constraints: don't forget that with a 32Gb microSD card you get 64Gb in total.
