@HiFiChris , nice review! I am wondering if you still use this player and if there is something changed about your opinion on the product? There is no doubt that many more reviews will come in the near future. In context: I canceled my order of the NW-A45 and decided to go for the J. Would be my very first Cowon product, so looking forward to it! In terms of design it reminds me of the AK Jr a bit (which I had a long time ago).

@Sunova I still use it from time to time (less for reviews than for private listening), and my opinion hasn't changed.

I didn't know about the Sony's existence - it looks like a great player, too. Their older models didn't shine with a low impedance Multi-BA IEM-friendly audio path implementation though - no idea about their newer models, and the specs provided by Sony don't tell much.
