Agreed about general (Founders Edition vs regular 8w version) observations that are saying here. Mine : Ares S Founders Edition. Same (but a different recipe). And yes, definitely, Suyang knows his thing. 👍

Thank you Dsnuts, very nice review (as always).

Lacking another EA cable to compare it to I can only second your impressions about the Cadmus FE. It is a great, refined sounding IEM cable.

All I can say is I had have the opportunity to make a direct comparison between my Ares S Founders Edition and a Code 51, with my Aure Ringo's. As the synergy (balance, tones, general sonic style...) is just perfect between my Ares S FE and my Ringo's, it wasn't fair for the Code. But most interestingly, technically wise, the Ares S FE was absolutely on par with the 51... Such a performance. 😉 Same with an Orpheus (more rounded and lusher, but not my thing with the Ringo's). Which is interesting is that the Ares S 8 and the FE have certain common basis, but at the very end, these are two different products. Not in the same league. I suppose this is the same between the regular Cadmus 8 and its FE counterpart.

@Dsnuts а удалось сравнить с Kinera Orlog? по-моему, там та же самая жила GPC используется😉

I can see what you mean about the Kinera Orlog cable. Those will be different due to having some pure silver cores. It looks like half pure silver cores the other half being a mix of SPC and GPC in its make up. It will have a different sound tuning vs the Cadmus FE due to having some pure silver cores in the mix. I bet those will be a bit more detail oriented and the FE should be more dynamic sounding vs those. Never tried those but looks like another excellent specialized cable from EA.
