Can you compare to the 1964ears U12? I have heard my friend's set many times and recently with the upgraded module for a large improvement again, and I can say that it sounds very much like your Zeus description. The module allows the quality bass to shine without bloat nor hurting the ears, and the module seems to provide a lot of sound stage, and best of all, the module allow the volume to go up without hurting the ears for greater dynamics. How does it fair against the Zeus?

The U12 was one of my fav iems but I did not have any of the released modules. But I can tell you this the Zeus R is more energetic, live sounding than the U12 with better bass, mids and highs and sound stage.

While I cannot comment on the Zeus, I can say the default S1 module that vam with many people's U/A12's is veiled, dark, treble shaded, mid bass bloated and all around sucks. I own B1, G1, MAM and they make a huge difference-especially MAM. A12 was about to be sold until I heard B1 and the rest is history. Imagine a Zeus R with a MAM, making the stage even larger and sig totally tuneable within a spectrum of adjustments....guess one can dream.

As for the buying the Zeus R you can buy by sending @Jack Vang a message or from Empire Ears website https://www.empireears.com/

I added the wood face plates which added to the price
