yes, I meant to say that I've been wanting to know about it for a while and you gave a good comparison in the review, so you have answered myh questions, thx man!
sorry for being unclear.
Interesting about how you perceive the soundstage depth as being shallow. The 'R' version is obv different to the original but all other reviews on the original version have stated how Zeus depth was pretty much unrivalled!
@Fiberoptix : I wouldn't exactly say it's shallow, but relatively speaking in comparison to other IEMs/CIEMs I tested. Here is a thing, and I just went through this with Piotr after my Harmony 8.2 review where I found the soundstage width to be not as wide as others have. So, I got a temp loaner of his universal H8.2 to compare to my review CIEM version. The difference was noticeable. My earcanal anatomy is a bit weird where it takes a sharp turn after a short distance. As a result, all my CIEMs are reworked to shorten the nozzle. The distance between eardrum and the driver will affect soundstage depth and width, and I experienced that first hand. At the same time, the difference shouldn't be night'n'day. Also, keep in mind, people have different perception of the sound, use different sources, have different experience and reference for comparison. For someone dealing with their first TOTL iem or who compared a handful of universal TOTL in the shop or at the show - this could be "unrivaled", etc. The way how I hear Zeus-R - it's not a 3D holographic sound because I perceive it with a lot more width in comparison to depth.
I hope you get a chance to try the original Zeus. I am thinking it might be more my cup of tea when you compare the R to Andro. Any chance of that in the works? Also loves your impressions on Athena.

Oddly enough, this review made me even more excited for my purchase of the U12. Your comparison put some of my worries to rest.
