Great review, I had a chance to listen to this DAP yesterday with my A12's and it is a warm balanced sound. I was looking at the specs from the link you provided, specifically the output power which reads 8Vp-p for 3.5 and 7.5Vp-p for 2.5 any idea what that translates into in VRMS?

@Peddler I would normally consider this too expensive for myself as well, BUT.. if you were considering running a Balanced DAC and AMP on your desktop and having a portable balanced player, this actually makes sense financially and is a space saver as well. I would consider it an excellent entry into the balanced audio world without jumping into a massive, costly desktop balanced setup. i could plug in my headphone with 4-Pin XLR cable into a 2.5mm balanced adapter into the X5 and be all set.
