WELL DONE!! I've been waiting to see a good review come out on these ever since I picked them up for a song ($299).......from a website that, I guess, had mistakenly priced them "too low" for the sale. At that price they are an unbelievably fabulous piece of kit. The detail, imaging, coherence and soundstage is hard to fathom coming from a single armature. They almost make my Titan 1's unlistenable...lol. I completely agree with most everything you have noted and would love to see comparisons with the new price-to-performance darlings: Dunu 2000j and maybe Flac 8 as I have considered picking one of these offerings up. Again, wonderful detailed review and maybe an update with the R2pro comparisons (or any others) when time permits?
