Excellent review. I love mine, my thoughts echo yours. I feel Focal created a wonderful "one and done" product.

Does any knows what dac chip used in bathys and what amp chip?

Good review which matches my impressions after several weeks of use. One thing though: while you can indeed turn the annoying light up Focal logo off in wireless mode, you cannot turn if when using the wired connection and yes precludes my use of them in wired mode at night when my wife wants to sleep. Other than that and the minor quibble regarding slight mid-bass intrusion these are wonderful and certainly the best wireless headphones I've heard. Miles ahead of the new Sony in terms of sound quality (couldn't stand the bloated bass) and quite a bit better than the B&Ws upon direct A/B comparison (no comparison for me on the mids and highs). Both of these headphones have better noise cancellation than the Bathys but the Focal NC is more than adequate. If you can afford the entry price, don't hesitate to grab a pair of these. Well done!
