Amazing concept. Do the MMCX and 2-pin connectors come in the box ? Or do we have to spend more for them?
And, more importantly, do we get proper continuous sound without hiccups? Even using Apt-x HD receiver i notice intermittent hiccups which ruins the listening experience. If my phone is in my pocket, will they pick the earphones pick the signal clearly and continuously? Thanks for the input.

The TM2 comes with MMCX by default as their standard drivers are MMCX. However the Westone 2-pin and FitEar 2-pin are optional extras one would have to purchase. I’ve actually not experienced any drops which is good ‘cos even my Jabra Active Elite 65t (which is also BT 5.0) gets drops. Now I’ve been using my iPhone which presumably is AAC. I don’t have my AptX supported players to test with the TM2 at the moment.

Thanks for putting this on the radar. I can't find any information about them outside of Japan - any place that would ship internationally?

I should have clarified - I meant the Fitear adapter. I guess I can get these first and run them with MMCX on the Solaris or XJE-MH2.

Tried it today and it's indeed very good, definitely the best one I've heard that takes MMCX. I bought a set with both adaptors (2 pin and Fitear) from Jaben HK

Can anyone provide additional commentary on fidelity for phone calls? I'm considering best measure to be how often caller on other end make any comment related to sound fidelity not related to noisy environment.

To be frank phone calls are mediocre. But to be fair, I've yet to come across a pair of bluetooth headphones that excel in both audio and phone calls.
