Thank you for your feedback. Especially for the Topping DX7s rating I'm striking it off my list of future purchases. HiBy fc3 is my first dac.

How's the volume control with the FD5? I'm interested in using the FC3 with IEM's and I'm worried the volume steps are too big so it's going to be either too loud or not loud enough, and I can't find the right volume.

The volume control is fine enough, sometime I wish it had half steps but thats more a comfort thing than a detriment.

I have purchased one of the first ones and I can confirm that this tiny DAC is a game changer. Very fun to listen and packed a ton of power. Very highly recommended.
