Any RMAA's?

A good read - thanks for taking the time to post it. As always, very nice pictures. I'm jealous! I totally agree with your conclusions about MA9, and from what little time I've spent on the AK120 and HM901, I seem to agree as well. I'd be a little more hard on the AK120 in terms of the UI though - I don't really find it any better than the HM901. Both are flawed but usable.

Yes, iBasso delivers, but it's below toys reviewed here. I own DX50 as well and am aware of its SQ. Yes, it's a bang for buck device, but not TOTL one.

Thanks as well, it's encouraging that someone from major contruibutors appreciates my effort. I could go harder on AK120, but I think I've made my point. To me UI in HM-901 is a bit uncomfortable to use, maybe because I got used to iDevices a bit too much :E

This is the best review I've ever read. Period. Awesome job man. Please do write more on other stuff and comment on the threads of the various DAPs if you can spare the time. I'm sure you can help a lot of people with their questions.

Thanks mate. If I could I'd write much more than now, unfortunately daily job takes 95% of my time. Though, I'm going to write here for sure.

Sorry I can't do that, haven't heard DX100 even for a second. That's the only expensive dap I hadn't had chance to listen to.

Nice review. Perhaps you could add a comment of the sound quality of the MA9 on it's own FW. You're obviously a rockbox fan. I don't personally prefer it to what comes on the AK120 but I'm sure it made the MA( snappy.

I thought about that at first. But I've changed to RB very fast, after an hour or so, as original OS was way to unusable for me. Everything is better than whats put on "out of the box" device, trust me

I'm surely heading for HM-901 for now.
But now I will decide, whether to sell my AK120 or not... time will tell.
