So there is still a volume balance issue...unfortunate...makes 4W power mode unusable with 99% of headphones. They really needed to separate power from gain. IEMatch is no good as it reduces dynamic range.
@Currawong The thing is those power modes change how much power is delivered to the headphones....normal is 1W and turbo is 4W. The Arya low end sounds more controller/dynamic in turbo mode, but it's very loud as soon as you dial the volume pot out of the channel imbalance zone. There is no simple input gain switch.
Good review, I've decided not to buy one for the moment, just enjoying the stuff I have. BTW, your YouTube channel your choice, but I do like reading the comments under videos on YouTube, I will miss them.
Its a bit obvious that ifi just took the idsd black and added a 4.4mm connector... and that connector isn't even a balanced connection.... the Signature would have been great if they had put the guts of their Diablo into the Signature, they are pretty much the same size... then the Signature would be balanced 4.4mm output, plenty of power and a better MQA solution...
