@BartSimpson1976 it has a lot to do with the models of ba drivers used and the electrical configuration (series or parallel) between the different drivers. Some ba drivers are inherently super sensitive, others are less. The final impedance and sensitivity figures are the result of all these factors plus many more. What I am essentially trying to say is manufacturers don't necessarily choose a sensitivity value and then design based on that. Its the other way around. Its possible to reduce sensitivity by adding resistors but it can potentially have side effects on the sound output.
Regardig the Samba, it is on the sensitive side but not necessarily a hiss magnet. Except for the Cayin i5 all other sources I have tried were reasonably silent with the Samba.

At 19Ohm and 116db SPL this might be a hiss magnet. Don't understand why most makers are jumping on that train. There is no need for more than 100db SPL.
