In terms of technicalities (imaging, soundstage, instrument separation, clarity, details) and timbre, how does it compare to the Audiosense T800?

Honestly since the T800 is too sibilant and too big for me to use (without lowering volume/picking songs without much in the highs) I cant really compare them that well. So take it with a grain of salt.

Clarity along with details is much better on the A6 without being Sibliant. instrument separation and imaging is on the same level, even though the clarity and details is better on the A6. Soundstage is a bit bigger in the T800. Timbre is much more natural on the A6, although Single DD like Blon 03 is still the top, the A6 is very good for a hybrid.

To answer Baskingshark as someone who has liked a lot the T800 and also have the LZ A6, i can confidently say that the LZ A6 with the black filter (with some cotton in it) has better clarity and details, has better instrument separation, the soundstage is noticeably wider, and i feel that the timbre is more pleasant because of the DD.

I feel that the piezo electric driver is super good at reproducing highs and the 4 BA and the DD are only focused on reproducing mid and bass, so i don't actually feel it lacks anything in special.
Overall i do preffer LZ A6 over T800 because i like it technicalities.

Nice review, especially with their comparison to A6mini.

Also own A6 and you are spot on. I wish they offered warmer filters because all of them are on the brighter side. Also agree on fit. Hard to beat if you're after extended treble though.

This is one of the few sets i like so much that I have 3 sets, very unforgiving on bad quality recordings but just shine with good records and good equipment, I also switch between the red and purple filters.

Did some brief ABing between the Xelento, Fearless S8F, se846, hifiboy os v3, Fiio fh1, and the Sony xba-z5... first of all Xelento sounds boring and lack of highs; S8F keeps up although with the distinctive BA bass sound; se846 sounds muted; hifiboy os v3 keeps up but not as shiny treble and bass is lack of depth; fh1 also sounds muted and warm with mid bass leading, then the Sony is just a bad fit overall but does sound as dynamic but hard to get a good seal for the bass. On that note compared it with the BEQYZ Spring 1 too since they have the piezo, the highs is nearly as good as the LZ Z6 but the bass sounds a bit loose and off.

I ran everything balanced off the Fiio m11 pro.

Update: I decided to pull the trigger on A6 for a huuuge discount during AE anniversary sale. So excited to get them

Loud button may useful for Hiby R6 users (Because of R6 high impedance output). I found that many of them buy A6 on Aliexpress

@Sergio a secas Thanks, I say that the A6 sounds better than the FH3 for linkin park. BUT it has problems with moisture, so you might need to do this: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/lz-...nd-review-thread.919056/page-38#post-15911422

Otherwise the FH3 is also very good with linkin park but the FH3 also has some QC problems. But if you can try and get the Intime Sora 2, that would be the best option since it sounds great and no QC problems.

(Please use english if you comment as I used google translate and dont know if it was translated correctly.)

My apologies, I also used the Google translator and the copy and paste must have played a trick on me, I will review the link that you have shared with me and I will assess, if I also read what you commented on the fiio fh3 about the quality control ... so accused should buy it on Amazon and the savings would be reduced to only 10 usd, compared to the lz, the sora 2, I only found it on a page in Malaysia with a similar look to aliexpress, for about 70 euros the change, but I do not know the reliability and shipping from there. Greetings and thank you very much for your prompt response.
