Great review. I agree with all of your points and feel that the Katana is a terrific all around IEM. In regards to some people feeling the treble to be too bright/harsh, I think it also depends on the tip selection. The blue/black Noble tips are great, but I also prefer Ortofon tips. They seem to bring out the sound without making the treble seem bright. 

Thanks for telling us about the Katana. I've had many questions about this co-flagship for some time now. I'd be interested in hearing it. I still think the K10 would be more up my alley, though. Knowing one's sound preference is a great benefit when talking about this kind of money. lol. But there seems to be a lot to like about these, as well.
